Sony’s first LTE smartphone was unveiled today as part of CES 2012’s AT&T keynote. The Sony Xperia ion is also the first Xperia device to be announced without the Ericsson brand (after Sony’s acquisition of Ericsson’s share in their joint venture).

The Sony Xperia Ion will be available exclusively in the U.S. from AT&T. It will launch in Q2 for an undisclosed price.
