When Google announced the Galaxy Nexus back in October, both 16GB and 32GB models were announced. Google has now made some changes to its Nexus website and the 32GB model has vanished. Has Google now opted to go only with 16GB of onboard storage? Given the fact that the Galaxy Nexus does not sport a memory card reader, being limited to 16GB is bound to be an issue for many who had been eyeing this device.
Interestingly, Droid-Life has obtained a Verizon internal document that still shows the carrier will offer a 32GB LTE model (and no 16GB model).
The Google specifications also now show that HSPA+ models will come with a 1,750mAh battery (as announced) while the LTE ones will have a slightly larger 1850mAh one.
I’m thinking that the HSPA+ model will have 16GB onboard and the 1750mAh battery while the LTE model will come with 32GB and the slightly larger battery.
