Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam has confirmed earlier rumours that Verizon Wireless will offer a US$30 unlimited data plan to go along with the Apple iPhone 4. McAdam recognizes that the move is key to entice current AT&T customers who still have grandfathered unlimited plans to make the switch.
McAdam later clarified that this offer will be limited. Verizon will likely follow AT&T’s lead and offer tiered pricing once the promotion expires.
Verizon Wireless will begin to offer the Apple iPhone 4 on February 10th. Prices will start at US$199.99 for the 16GB model and US$299.99 for 32GB one with a two-year contract.
