Verizon Wireless today announced that it will launch the Pantech Breakout on September 22nd. With it, Verizon is introducing an entry level LTE handset as it will sell for as low as US$99.99. Before this device, Verizon’s LTE handsets (such as the DROID Bionic) all sold for over US$250.

Verizon Wireless will offer the Pantech Breakout for US$99.99 with a two-year contract and a US$50 mail-in rebate. It will go on sale on September 22nd.
