Verizon Wireless yesterday announced via Twitter that it will expand its 4G LTE network to a number of new markets later this week. On May 19th, 4G LTE coverage will go live in the following areas:
- Fayetteville-Lumberton, North Carolina
- Tallahassee, Pensacola, and Gainesville, Florida
- Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama
- Wider coverage in the Philadelphia metro area
- Wider coverage in the Denver, Colorado area
Verizon offers two 4G LTE phones, the HTC ThunderBolt and the Samsung DROID Charge, as well as two USB modems and two LTE mobile hotspots.
