HTC could be very busy at the upcoming MWC if a recent number of new phone details obtained by Pocketnow.com turn out to be accurate. Details are slim but it appears that HTC could announce a few devices.
The first device appears to be a successor to HTC’s current HTC flagship device, the HTC Desire HD. The rendering confirms the presence of a front-facing camera and a curvier design. Resistive controls have replaced the trackpad and physical buttons. PocketNow.com suggests that it could come with a smaller display, perhaps measuring 3.8- or 4-inches.
HTC Desire HD successor?
The BREW MP-powered HTC Smart appears to have a successor waiting in the wings as well. The new device, possibly to be called the HTC Smart 2, has a new button layout with a Home and start and end call buttons, compared to that of the original Smart with its Back, Menu, and start and call buttons).
Rumoured HTC Smart 2
Less is known about what appears to be a button-less handset (not even resistive buttons are shown). Rendered images suggest that aside from an HTC-branded version, there will be a Verizon-branded one as well.
