Sony has not provided much information about its upcoming S1 and S2 tablets. While Sony confirmed that they would run Android Honeycomb, the specific version has remained a mystery. Documents found on the Sony support site now suggest that both will be powered by Android 3.2.
Other screenshots show that the S1 and S2 will come with a “Wi-Fi checker” application, the Chumby app, a DLNA app, and the Zinio app (for digital magazines). It also look like at least the S1 will use a proprietary charger based on the image below.
Sony is expected to release the S1 and the S2 this fall.
