SaskTel first announced that it would offer the Samsung Galaxy S II via Twitter almost two weeks ago. It reconfirmed its plans today with a press release, indicating that it “will be available from SaskTel in the coming weeks.”
“SaskTel is committed to providing our customers with access to the best devices,” said Ron Styles, SaskTel President and CEO. “We believe the Samsung GALAXY S II is a game-changing smartphone that offers an unbeatable user experience. We are very excited to offer the device to our customers through Saskatchewan’s largest and fastest 4G network.”
While Bell did not provide any pricing, SaskTel indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S II would sell for CA$79.99 with a three-year contract.
Virgin Mobile made a similar announcement as well indicating that “the Samsung GALAXY S II 4G will be available in the coming weeks on Virgin Mobile’s super-speedy network.” As with Bell, no pricing was announced.
