You can now add a User Agent Profile xml file as further proof that Samsung is the manufacturer behind the upcoming Google Nexus Prime. Compared to information leaked so far, the nexusprime.xml UAProfile contains few details and a couple of surprises.
One rumour suggested that the device would be released as the Verizon DROID Prime with model designation SCH-i515. Here the device is identified as the GT-I9250. This would suggest that at least two variants could be released, one for Verizon and a more generic one (much like the original Verizon DROID and Motorola Milestone variants).
The file also shows the device as sporting a display with a WVGA (480 x 800) resolution and an ARM11 processor. Previous rumours pointed to a much higher 720p HD display and a 1.5GHz dual-core TI OMAP4460 processor.
Let’s hope that Samsung deliberately created a misleading profile. The alternative suggests that the Nexus Prime would be a rather disappointing device.
