The Samsung Galaxy S III is the topic of rumours again. An alleged Samsung internal presentation shows a few specification details of what could be Samsung’s next flagship device. The slide in question also shows a launch date sometime in 2012.
The slide suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be powered by a 1.8GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos 4212 processor and Google Android. It will come with LTE connectivity, a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display, 2GB of RAM, NFC support, and a 12MP camera. Interestingly, it would use the Ice Cream Sandwich Android version but still come with four physical buttons. It is also supposed to be thinner than the current Galaxy S II.
The validity of the document is brought into question by some errors such as the indication that the original Galaxy S shipped with an Exynos processor (it came with a 1GHz Hummingbird processor) and some typos. The specifications are also different from earlier rumours that suggested a quad-core processor.
Truth or fiction, what do you think?
