Samsung today announced the Samsung Omnia W, its first smartphone powered by Windows Phone 7.5 (codename Mango).

The Samsung Omnia W will first be available in Italy in late October. The rest of Europe, Latin America, Africa, South East and South West Asia will follow later in the year. There is no North American availability date yet – We may have to wait for a carrier announcement.
