The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Keith Pardy, Research In Motion’s Chief Marketing Officer, is leaving the company for personal reasons. The move comes just as RIM is getting ready to launch its BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
Pardy will stay on for a six month transition period to help the company and its yet-to-be-named successor.
According to “a person familiar with the situation,”Pardy informed RIM of his plans last month.
