The Canadian Google Nexus S launch will likely happen within the coming days. Despite a host of carriers, including Bell Mobility, Mobilicity, Rogers Wireless, TELUS Mobility, Videotron, and WIND Mobile, scheduled to carry it, pricing and specific availability have remained a bit of a mystery. Until now.
MobileSyrup.com has now learned that Mobilicity will launch the Google Nexus S on April 7th for CA$499.99. Videotron appears set to release it on the same day for CA$529.95 contract-free and CA$149.95 on an unspecified “reduced price” plan. Rumours suggest that pricing at other carriers will vary between CA$499.99 and CA$599.99.
Meanwhile, a Future Shop forum post is indicating that it will have the Rogers and Fido versions in some stores starting this weekend (April 8th). TELUS and Koodo versions are expected a week later.
Update: You can now add TELUS as the latest to launch the Google Nexus S on April 7th. Pricing will start at CA$179.99 with a three-year contract (promotional pricing) and run to CA$549.99 with no contract. [Via MobileSyup.com]
