Verizon has yet to release the DROID Bionic (a summer release is in the cards) but Motorola is already hard at work on its successor. According to information obtained by Droid-Life.com, the Motorola Dinara (a codename only) could be Motorola’s next flagship device.
According to the details obtained, the Motorola Dinara will be powered by a TI processor and Google Android 2.3 (Android 4.0 by the time it’s released?). It will come with an HD display larger than that of the BIONIC, a 13MP rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, and a non-removable battery. It’s not clear if it will support LTE connectivity at this time. The device will closely resemble the BIONIC but should end up thinner and lighter. The larger display will be accommodated by a closer to the edge fit.
Motorola is looking to have the Dinara out in the winter sometime.
