Along with the Motorola RAZR and DROID RAZR for Verizon, Motorola yesterday announced a second Lapdock accessory, the Lapdock 500 Pro. It comes with a larger display, a full-size keyboard with dedicated Android keys, and a few more features than the smaller Lapdock 100.
Lapdock 500 Pro is designed for mobility – it is significantly lighter than most laptops that have as large a screen, and easily fits in a briefcase or backpack. Use it at home, in the office, at your favorite coffee shop, at the airport or in your hotel room when traveling. The Lapdock 500 Pro is currently compatible with the Motorola RAZR and will be compatible with future Motorola webtop-enabled smartphones. There is no word yet on whether it also supports the Motorola ATRIX 2, PHOTON 4G, and DROID BIONIC by Motorola which the Lapdock 100 does.
Motorola did not provide pricing and availability details for the Lapdock 500 Pro.
