Bell today announced the availability of the 4G LTE Novatel Wireless U679 Turbo Stick for its recently launched LTE network. Described as the “slimmest and most compact 4G LTE USB modem on the market today,” it not only supports LTE but also Dual Carrier HSPA+ and HSPA+ connectivity for those times when users are in an area not covered by LTE.

The 4G LTE Novatel Wireless U679 Turbo Stick joins the LTE Sierra Wireless U313 Turbo Stick in Bell’s LTE device portfolio. Bell has also promised to launch at least one LTE/HSPA+-capable smartphone and tablet later this year (rumoured to be the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy S II LTE versions).
Bell is offering the 4G LTE Novatel Wireless U679 Turbo Stick for CA$59.95 with a three-year contract, CA$99.95 with a two-year contract, CA$159.95 with a one-year contract or for CA$199.95 with no contract. it is available at Bell stores and online.
