If Digitimes is correct, HTC may be one of the few device manufacturers not to unveil a tablet device at this week’s CES. Citing industry sources in Taiwan, Digitimes reports that HTC will wait until the 2011 Mobile World Congress in February to unveil its HTC Scribe tablet. Instead it will focus on the launch of the HTC Thunderbolt with Verizon and the HTC EVO Shift 4G with Sprint.
Past rumours have suggested that the HTC Scribe will be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and Honeycomb (Android 2.4?) and come with a display running at a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels (enough to meet Honeycomb’s rumoured minimum specifications). Digitimes adds that it will come with a 7-inch display.
