Remember that HTC press event scheduled on April 12th? Pocket-lint.com has learned that the company will use the event to announce the HTC Sensation, a device so far known by its codename Pyramid.
“I can clear up a couple of those questions for you. It WILL be coming to the UK, though I can’t say to which network. And Pocket Lint you’re spot on with the naming, as it will be launched in the UK as the ‘HTC Sensation’,” one of our men in the know has confirmed.
Earlier rumours suggest that the HTC Sensation will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Google Android 2.3.2 with HTC Sense 3.0. It will come with a 4.3-inch qHD display, 768MB RAM, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, a rear-facing 8MP camera and a front-facing VGA one.
With the event being based in London, it’s likely that it will focus on European carriers. Other rumours also suggest that it will be headed to T-Mobile USA perhaps as early as May (possibly under a different name).
