Digitimes reports that HTC will launch three tablet devices in the first half of the year. The first, called the Flyer, could begin shipping in the US as early as March and will be available through unnamed carriers. It will become available in other unspecified markets in Q2.
The HTC Flyer will apparently look like an enlarged HTC Desire. No screen size is given but Digitimes sources suggest that it will be powered by Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with a future upgrade to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).
HTC’s two other tablets will follow in June and will be running Android 3.0 from the onset.
