HTC today launched its second Beats Audio smartphone, the HTC Sensation XL (formerly known as the HTC Runnymede).

While the HTC Sensation XL’s display is larger than that of the original HTC Sensation, the resolution has been downgraded from qHD (540 x 960) to WVGA (480 by 800). Fewer pixels over a a larger area will likely result in a display that is not as crisp and sharp.
The HTC Sensation XL will be available across Europe and the Asia Pacific region starting in early November. There is no word yet on North American availability.
