The saga of what Hewlett-Packard will do with webOS could come to an end today. PreCentral has learned that CEO Meg Whitman will hold a meeting with the webOS team today at 10:30 PT (13:30 ET).
Whitman had promised a decision at a similar meeting a month ago. She reiterated that a decision was coming “in the next two weeks” more recently in a press interview.
Since HP announced its decision to exit the webOS hardware business, rumours of suitors have been flying. More recent rumours suggested that HP would sell webOS but look to license it back for printers. There are also some encouraging comments from Whitman herself that suggest that HP could even reverse its decision and keep webOS.
