A new Verizon ad has popped up on a number of Android sites and is giving us the first possible indication of how much the Galaxy Nexus will cost when launched in the US (and Canada). The Verizon ad, which highlights holiday deals, shows the upcoming Galaxy Nexus as selling for US$199.99 with a two-year contract.
It’s unclear if the ad launched prematurely but it is a distinct possibility as one of the ‘Learn more’ link parameters (cmp=BAC-OM-111129-HOLIDAYSAMSUNG) suggests a November 29th launch, supporting an earlier rumour that it would be available just after Black Friday. It is also possible that this ad would have been launched in support of the Galaxy Nexus had been launched on the rumoured November 17th date.
Is this also a sign that Bell and Virgin could launch the Galaxy Nexus in Canada for CA$199.99 with a three-year contract?
