A leaked document obtained by DroidLife.com has revealed the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Stratosphere, a QWERTY slider. Early rumours had suggested it might be Verizon’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S II but the new details suggest it will compete more against devices such as the Samsung Epic 4G offered through Sprint.
Rumoured Samsung Stratosphere specifications:

- Operating system: Google Android 2.3 with Samsung TouchWiz
- Cellular connectivity: CDMA/EVDO/LTE
- Other connectivity: GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
- Display: 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA
- Input: Slide-out QWERTY keyboard
- Memory: 512MB RAM
- Storage: 4GB internal / microSD cards up to 32GB (4GB card pre-installed)
- Rear-facing camera: 5MP with dual-LED and 480p video recording
- Front-facing camera: 1.3MP
Confirming earlier rumours, Verizon bills the Samsung Stratosphere as a “mid”-tier device suggesting it might come in around the US$149.99 price point.
There is still no word on when Verizon will officially launch the Samsung Stratosphere.
