“A trusted source” has apparently provided BGR.com with the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Nexus Prime smartphone. Codenamed “Nexus Prime” during development, it should be unveiled next week at Samsung’s Unpacked event.
Rumoured Samsung Galaxy Nexus specifications:

- Operating system: Google Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
- Cellular connectivity: LTE/HSPA depending on carrier

As with other Nexus devices, it will come with a plain Android experience with no-third party interface add-on or modifications. Unlike other devices and assuming BGR‘s source is correct, it could be the first Nexus device to not bear the Google name in its official name.
Supporting earlier rumours, BGR also added that Verizon will have a US exclusive for a period of time on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
