The successor to the Motorola XOOM tablet (the very first Android tablet) is now in the prototype stage according to Fudzilla. Early specification details look quite promising.
The report indicates that it will be powered by a quad-core NVidia Kal-El processor (like one of the rumoured Amazon tablets) and Google Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It will sport a 10-inch display with a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels (4:3 aspect ratio) and is much thinner than the current device.
There are no details yet on when the new tablet (the XOOM 2 perhaps) could launch.
