If a separate rumour is to be believed, RIM has two more devices in the wings. The first, codenamed Monaco, appears to be the next Storm smartphone. It could be the first Storm not to feature RIM’s SurePress technology. An announcement could be imminent as it appears to already be in production.
Rumoured BlackBerry Monaco specifications:
- Processor: 1GHz processor
- Operating system: BlackBerry 6
- Connectivity: CDMA (and EVDO presumably)
- Display: 3.7-inch touchscreen display
- Input: Trackpad
- Memory: 512MB RAM
The second device, a hybrid with a Bold body but a Curve keypad (maybe) and a touchscreen is codenamed Montana (although it seems to share a lot with the just leaked Dakota as well). With its shared lineage, it might end up as the first in the 9900 model line.
