Back in mid-September, AT&T announced plans to launch three new Windows Phone 7.5 smartphones later this year. It announced today via Facebook that two of these, the Samsung Focus S and the Samsung Focus Flash, will be launched on November 6th.
Introducing two new Windows Phones, guaranteed to satisfy any budget. The Samsung Focus Flash is just $49.99 and the Samsung Focus S is $199.99. Both build on the success of the award-winning and highest-selling Windows Phone in the U.S., the Samsung Focus.
Is it coincidence that Microsoft has planned an event the next day where AT&T looks set to be the guest of honour?
The Samsung Focus S will be powered by a 1.4GHz processor and pack a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, “4G-capable speeds” and both an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3 front-facing one. It will be 8.55 millimeters thick.
The Samsung Focus Flash will also sport a 1.4GHz processor but will come with a smaller 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 5MP rear-facing camera, and a front-facing camera.
AT&T has still not provided availability and pricing details for the upcoming HTC Titan, the third Windows Phone 7.5 device it plans to launch.
