On the heels of its announcement that it will acquire T-Mobile USA, AT&T announced two new upcoming smartphones, the LG Thrill 4G (a variant of the LG Optimus 3D) and the HTC HD7S (sporting an update version of WP7 and a Super LCD display).
“AT&T customers know that we offer the best lineup of cutting-edge smartphones in the country. Our first 3D phone plus a new, leading Windows Phone underscore our commitment to continue to offer the best,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.
LG Thrill 4G specifications:

- Operating system: Google Android 2.2
- Connectivity: GSM/HSPA+

- Display: Glasses-free 4.3-inch stereoscopic 3D touchscreen
- Storage: 8GB onboard / MicroSD cards (8GB card included)

HTC HD7S specifications:
- Processor: 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon
- Operating system: Windows Phone 7 (with NoDo update)

- Display: 4.3-inch WVGA super LCD capacitive touchscreen
- Rear-facing camera: 5MP with dual-LED flash
The HTC HD7S will be available from AT&T “in the coming weeks” while the LG Thrill 4G will land “in the coming months.” Pricing information was not revealed.
