At least one Canadian retailer appears to be shipping the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime on schedule. Tiger Direct Canada has confirmed to at least some customers who pre-ordered the tablet that their orders have begun to ship. Shipments are coming out of the US and delivery is scheduled for later this week.
Last week, NCIX, Best Buy Canada, and Future Shop all reported shipment delays. It’s not clear if these retailers will be able to start shipping their orders this week.
Meanwhile, reports of shipment delays are now emerging out of the US as well. Engadget reports that Best Buy has begun to alert pre-order customers of shipment delays between one and two weeks. A number of Amazon customers have also seen their orders “inadvertently canceled” but have been told that they can re-order.
