The launch date for the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime appears to be getting clearer by the day. While ASUS itself has only indicated that it would be available sometime in early December, sites offering pre-orders are painting a more precise picture.
In Canada, Best Buy is showing that the Transformer Prime “is scheduled to arrive in our warehouse on” December 5th.
In the US, Newegg is showing a release date of December 8th.
The 32GB version of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime will sell for US$499 and the 64GB one for US$599. The optional keyboard docking accessory will sell for US$149. Canadian prices are on par with US ones.
If December 8th is in fact the launch date, Android fans will be busy. It is also the launch date for the Galaxy Nexus in Canada and rumoured launch date for it and the Verizon DROID 4 in the US.
Update: Amazon.ca is showing an availability date of December 16th
