MTS today announced that it will offer the Apple iPhone 4 “in the coming months.” No dates were given but it is likely that it will happen once MTS launches its HSPA+ network on March 31st.
MTS will launch iPhone 4 in Canada in the coming months. iPhone 4 is the most innovative phone in the world, featuring Apple’s stunning Retina display, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone and FaceTime, which makes video calling a reality.
I expect that pricing will fall in line with that offered by the other carriers (for example, CA$159 for the 16GB iPhone 4 with a three-year contract or CA$269 for the 32GB model with a three-year contract).
