The Apple iPad 2 goes on sale in the US tomorrow and today, the company outlined where and when you will be able to get it.
It will be first available online through the Apple Store beginning at 1 a.m. Pacific Time. It will then go on sale at all 236 US Apple retail stores as well as AT&T, Best Buy, Target, Verizon Wireless, Walmart and select Apple Authorized Resellers at 5 p.m. local time.
Every customer who buys an iPad 2 at an Apple retail store will be offered free Personal Setup service, helping them customize their iPad 2 by setting up email, loading new apps from the App Store and more, so they’ll be up and running with their new iPad 2 before they leave the store.
The Apple iPad 2 starts at US$499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi-only model and tops out at US$829 for the 64GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G version.
The iPad 2 will launch in Canada and additional countries on March 25th.
