Relations between Apple and Samsung are sure to get even frostier. The former today extended its patent infringement lawsuit against the latter to include additional products. The products named in the original lawsuit were “the Samsung Captivate, Continuum, Vibrant, Galaxy S 4G, Epic 4G, Indulge, Mesmerize, Showcase, Fascinate, Nexus S, Gem, Transform, Intercept, and Acclaim smart phones and the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet.” Apple has now added the Droid Charge, Exhibit 4G, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Prevail, Galaxy S (i9000), Gravity, Infuse 4G, Nexus S 4G, Replenish, Sidekick, Galaxy Tab 10.1, and Galaxy S II (aka Galaxy S 2) to the list.

Apple also revised the list of patents that Samsung has allegedly infringed. It dropped two utility patents (focused on hardware and software) but added three new ones. Today also marked the deadline by which Samsung was to have shown certain products to Apple to allow it to decide whether to seek an early injunction
