The first images of the upcoming Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich have seemingly been leaked. Both RootzWiki.com and AndroidPolice.com have landed pictures of the next major Android release running on a Google Nexus S.
To go along with the pictures are some additional details about Ice Cream Sandwich:
- It will first launch on the Google Nexus Prime
- It will be made available to the Google Nexus S and other recent devices
- Most of the changes focus on the UI incorporating many Honeycomb elements
- A new blue theme to replace Gingerbread’s green theme
- GMail will be rethemed
- Panorama mode for the camera
- New launcher and app drawer
- Will come with Google Shopper with NFC support
The development of Ice Cream Sandwich is apparently still in the early stages, suggesting that it will not be out too soon contradicting earlier rumours that devices running Ice Cream Sandwich could be out as early as October.
