About a month after the latest video, CyanogenMod has released an alpha version of its HP TouchPad Android port. Most of the hardware seems to be working well but this release is far from ready for prime time:
In truth, this “alpha” version is not intended for the general public. Rather, those technically competent hobbyists and developers who are interested in testing an early development version and fully understand the risks of doing so may find interest in it. But there are many bugs and problems in this alpha version. There will be MANY app compatibility issues as well.
Along with the release comes a new video showing some new features including Bluetooth and Netflix support:
There is no ETA on when the final version will be ready. After all, “ETA’s are a bad omen.” But progress seems to be continuing at a healthy pace…
