MTS Allstream today announced that it will launch its HSPA+ network on March 31st. It will offer download speeds up to 21 Mbps to 97 per cent of Manitobans. Along with the new network, MTS will introduce a new lineup of smartphones and handsets.
“All of us at MTS are incredibly excited about bringing this next generation of wireless service to our Manitoba customers, which will give them faster data speeds as well as access to the best available national and international roaming,” said Kelvin Shepherd, President of MTS.
MTS customers will also be able to use roaming in more than 200 countries around the world.
For now, MTS will also continue to operate its CDMA network and offer CDMA-based devices.
