WIND Mobile confirms Google Nexus One compatibility

Google Nexus One

On Tuesday, Google released the Nexus One for the Rogers Wireless and AT&T networks. Shortly after, TELUS confirmed that it would also work on their new HSPA network. Now it’s WIND’s turn to confirm that the original AWS-band T-Mobile version will work on its network.

The Google Nexus One works with WIND’s AWS network, and is sold exclusively through Google’s web site (google.com/phone). If you’re ordering a Nexus One to use with WIND, make sure to get the T-Mobile version that works on the AWS frequency. Once you have your Nexus One, stop by a WIND store and we’ll give you a WIND SIM free of charge and set you up with voice, text, and data service at a reasonable price, with no contract and no hidden fees.

The Google Nexus One is only available directly from Google for US$529.
