Google built a massive display for last week’s Google I/O that showcased most if not all of the devices powered by Google Android. Among those was the mysterious Acer Liquid stream.

Little is known about the device but Android-France.fr reports that it will launch in October to replace the Acer Liquid. It looks set to be powered by Android 2.1 with Acer’s new customized user interface. The new UI could explain why Acer will release it with Android 2.1 rather than the just announced 2.2 version.
Let’s hope we learn more about the Acer Liquid stream soon (and that it gets a better name by launch time).
