Virgin Mobile Canada is set to launch its HSPA+ network on February 2nd. Virgin promises a “huge new network” and “some of the world’s sexiest phones.” Given that Bell Mobility owns Virgin Mobile, that huge network is none other than Bell’s recently launched HSPA network.
Among the first devices to be launched on the new network will be the Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS and the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700. Other devices expected to be offered at launch or perhaps later include the BlackBerry Curve 8530, Samsung M330, Broadband2Go MC998D, and the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2372.
Plan and device pricing details have yet to be revealed.
