Virgin Mobile HSPA+ network up and running

Virgin Mobile Canada

Virgin Mobile appears to have decided to launch its HSPA+ network earlier than it had originally expected.

Members get what they want, where they want it. We’ve got your back with more than 93 percent of Canadians covered on the nation’s largest, fastest HSPA+ network. This means you can do more, in more places, with the latest high-tech phones and smartphones.

Among the new devices being offered are the following:

  • Apple iPhone 3GS (16GB or 32GB) for CA$199.99/CA$299.99 with three-year contract or CA$699.99/CA$799.99 with 30-day contract
  • BlackBerry Bold 9700 for CA$149.99 with three-year contract or CA$549.99 with 30-day contract
  • BlackBerry Curve 8530 for CA$49.99 with three-year contract or CA$399.99 with 30-day contract
  • Broadband2Go MC998D modem for CA$0.00 with two-year contract or CA$149.99 with 30-day contract
  • Novatel Wireless MiFi 2372 for CA$99.99 with two-year contract or CA$199.99 with 30-day contract

Virgin Mobile Canada is owned by Bell Mobility and its network is none other than the Bell HSPA network launched in November 2009.
