Verizon Wireless to outline 4G deployment plans tomorrow

Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless will hold a press conference tomorrow to outline its 4G LTE network rollout plans.

Verizon Wireless will launch the world’s largest 4G LTE network in 38 major metropolitan areas, covering more than 110 million Americans, before the end of the year.

Hopefully Verizon will shed light on when we will see devices capable of taking advantage of the new speeds. Earlier, it revealed that it did not expect to have its first 4G mobile phone out until some three to six months after the launch of its LTE service. Data sticks and Mi-Fi-type devices will hopefully be available before.

More details tomorrow.
