BGR has learned that Verizon is gearing up to launch two new DROID smartphones from Motorola.
In July, Verizon will launch the DROID X (better known as the Motorola Shadow). It will run Android 2.1 with an updated BLUR interface.
August will then see the launch of the Motorola DROID 2 with Android 2.2. This is a bit later than was suggested by a separate rumour yesterday.
Lastly, BGR reports that both devices will use TI OMAP3630 processors (confirming earlier specification rumours about the Motorola Shadow).
