Verizon to introduce Android-based 4G devices at CES?

Verizon Wireless

Verizon has hinted that it could announce Android-based devices for its LTE network at CES 2011. A tweet posted yesterday reads:

Jan. 6 at #CES: #Android and #LTE – could it be like peanut butter and chocolate? YUM!

It’s not clear what devices (phones and/or tablets?) Verizon will reveal but they should be its first non-modem 4G devices. One possibility could be the HTC Incredible HD. Another could be the upcoming Motorola tablet.

Verizon could also finally confirm at CES the rumours that it will begin to carry the Apple iPhone.
