While Verizon continued to sell the Microsoft KIN ONE and TWO after the latter announced it was pulling the plug on its recently announced devices, the writing had been on the wall from that moment. The rumours that Verizon had at last stopped selling the KINs started yesterday with WMExperts.com citing two sources. Today, while you can still find signs of the KIN on the Verizon site, you can no longer buy it.
Verizon is reportedly sending its remaining stock of KIN devices back (presumably to Microsoft).
The KIN devices were born out of Microsoft’s 2008 acquisition of Sidekick maker Danger.
