Verizon today confirmed via Twitter that it has begun to push out the DROID Incredible Android 2.2 update.

Aside from all the Froyo goodies, the update also enables 720p video capture and adds mobile hotspot support (for an additional US$20 per month unfortunately), Flash 10.1, and Verizon Navigator (if Google Maps is not your thing).
It’s likely that it will take at least a few days to push the update out to all customers.
