TELUS is set to launch the Motorola Milestone next week according to a Bloomberg report. The report supports earlier rumours that the Milestone could be launched on February 18th.
TELUS has high hopes for the Milestone:
“We would love to have another leg to balance the iPhone and Research In Motion Ltd.’s BlackBerry handsets,” Chief Financial Officer Bob McFarlane said today in an interview. “There’s nothing like a little competitive supply to help you.”
McFarlane did not reveal the Milestone’s pricing but rumours suggest it will sell for CA$199 with a three-year contract or CA$549 without one.
