Earlier this week, T-Mobile announced the release date and pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Available starting on November 10th, it will sell for US$399.99 with a two-year contract (pricing in line with that of Sprint). Data plans will include T-Mobile’s monthly 5GB or 200MB webConnect mobile broadband plans as well as some new prepaid plans.
T-Mobile has now published the specifications of the tablet and there are a few surprises: 10-inch display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor N450, 160GB hard drive, and Windows 7. Don’t get all excited: It is more likely to be a content snafu than a mysterious new Galaxy Tab model. Both the Overview and Features tab features the more usual 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet we are all expecting.
Anyone out there wishing this was for real?
