Sprint today finally revealed when it will launch the Samsung Epic 4G, its second 4G smartphone (after the HTC EVO 4G). Mark your calendars: The Epic 4G will hit the street on August 31st.

Sprint will upgrade the Samsung Epic 4G to Android 2.2 “in the coming months.”
Sprint will offer the Samsung Epic 4G for US$249.99 after a US$100 mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract. Sprint Stores will open at 0800 local time on that day. Customers can also reserve their smartphone for purchase at www.sprint.com/epic4g beginning Friday, August. 13th.
