Only days after Sony Ericsson unveiled the Xperia X10 for Rogers Wireless, a rumour is suggesting that the two companies could team up again to offer the Xperia X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro later this year. The launch appears scheduled for sometime this summer.
Both the Xperia X10 mini and X10 mini pro are powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and Google Android 1.6 with the Sony Ericsson UX interface. They will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and either dual or tri-band (depending on the model) UMTS/HSPA connectivity, a 2.55-inch QVGA touchscreen display, 128MB of internal memory, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, a 5MP camera with auto-focus, an FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB port, and a microSD card slot (supporting cards up to 16GB). The X10 mini pro also comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
MobileSyrup.com’s source indicates that Rogers could offer both devices around CA$50 with a three-year contract.
