Sony Ericsson is jumping on the Windows Phone 7 bandwagon. CEO Bert Nordberg made the revelation during Sony Ericsson’s third-quarter earnings conference call earlier this week. Unfortunately, he provided no further details except to confirm that this would not happen in time for this year’s holiday season.
Rumours of such a move surfaced last month when the Microsoft UK marketing time mentioned that Sony Ericsson was a Windows Phone 7 partner.
Sony Ericsson recently confirmed that it had no plans to release any other Symbian devices and that it would focus on Google Android.
Earlier this month, separate rumours suggested Garmin-Asus would also launch Windows Phone 7 smartphones in 2011.
